
Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9, 1965)[1] is an American actor from America. Her most well-known roles include her roles as Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla (mother of Selena) in the film Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez's character on the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth (2011-17). She is currently playing Camila Diaz in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie began her acting career in her teens. In 1988, she was offered an appearance in Salsa. Other film and television credits include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Selena, Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was selected to play Angie Lopez on the ABC comedy series George Lopez. Marie appeared alongside Jacqueline Obradors, Hector Elizondo and Elizabeth Pena in the 2001 comedy-drama Tortilla Soup. Also, she appeared on the PBS drama series American Family. Her clothing line was launched "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. She was also featured in an ad campaign for PETA in 2007 to encourage pet owners to spay/neuter their pets. 3. Marie was the legally-authorized and birth mother of one of her daughters Regina Vasquez. She appeared on the drama ABC Family/Freeform Switched at Birth from 2011 until 2017.
