Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian artist and actor, is well-known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of and Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney with the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister that lives in Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started with classical piano classes at the age of eight, is identified as being a "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatric patient until her board exam in 12th grade. In her twenties, she became an active member of the Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. Additionally, she worked as an actor in the college. She was also an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her journey performing in theater through Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. In 2006, she appeared in a TV show which was broadcast on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows across India. The brief appearance was at the end of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea play the lead role after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea is Kalyani who is wife and mother to a man with whom she has a romantic relationship. Andrea was selected for the role because the actresses Simran Shabana as well as Tabu were invited to audition for the film. This film came out in early the year 2010. In the beginning of 2010, she was cast in a minor role as part of Venkat's Mankatha in 2011 which was a film that featured several actors. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
