Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to a family in South London. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss as well as her mother is English. Her family was raised in a council estate in the south of London. At the age 14, she attended The Brit School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. As a student at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since, she's made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she played Elisha on her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Madekwe debuted in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama program aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being ended. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the show's initial two seasons as a regular. But in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would be departing the show following her guest appearance in the first episode of the series' third season. She was Tituba in the show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents, Roy and Patty, as well as her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey during the winter as well as in the summer. She grew up in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley did not walk; instead, she was a dancer. At age two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley was addicted to dance from that moment. Ashley was a dancer who competed in all the major divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as the acrobatics. She was the top soloist in important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
