Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone became interested in gymnastics when she was just six when she took a field trip for day care to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin playing in elite levels of competition. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles stood out because of her unstoppable performance enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
